Saturday, July 1st, 1961: Foley Wins NL's Best Bat Trophy
Mark Foley put his mark on the North League this June by putting together some award-winning numbers. Calabasas's second baseman took home the Batter of the Month award on the strength of his .433 batting average.

He tacked up 39 hits, no home runs, 10 RBIs and 22 runs scored.

This season Foley has hit at a .350 clip with 23 RBIs, 0 home runs and 46 runs scored. He has played in 69 games.

This week's North League Player of the Week is Mark Foley of the Calabasas Hawks.
