Friday, June 30th, 1961: Harrison Goes 6-6 Against Hamilton
It's not something you read about in the sports pages every day -- a 6-for-6 day. It may only come around once in a career -- a lot of players never have one -- but Eldon Harrison got one today. He scattered hits all over Elliot St. Park to pace Brampton to a 19-10 victory over Hamilton.

The Hamilton skipper told reporters in the press room, "Tip your hat to him. He hit some good pitches. According to the scouting report, Harrison hit several that he is not supposed to hit."

E. Harrison singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off A. Pérez in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

Harrison is currently batting .313 with 3 home runs and 30 RBIs.
