Monday, June 26th, 1961: Rosas out 2 Weeks with Injury
After the end of today's game between Pittsburgh and Boston, Eduardo Rosas skipped the clubhouse and headed straight for the doctor's office. After he was removed from the game as a precaution after running the bases, the Keystones had their worst fears confirmed when it turned out to be more serious. The third baseman will miss at least 2 weeks with a strained medial collateral ligament.

This season-to-date Rosas has 12 home runs and a .298 batting average.
Wednesday, June 21st, 1961: Green Hurt, out 8 Weeks
Mark Green had to leave the Keystones game against Chicago after suffering a strained back muscle while running the bases. He will be out of the lineup at least 8 weeks. He told reporters, "I just felt a sharp pain when it happened. I knew there was something wrong."

This season Green is batting at a .219 clip with 6 home runs and 22 RBIs.
Monday, June 5th, 1961: Hard to Handle Hitter Wins RL Honor
His critics are starting to suggest that Pittsburgh's António Díaz doesn't have much left, but the 35-year-old Díaz prefers not to think that way. He cooked up a remarkable week in the last seven days, topping it off with the Player of the Week Award in the Roosevelt League.

The veteran right fielder for the Keystones rolled to a .476 average (10-21) with 3 home runs and 8 RBIs.

Díaz is currently hitting at a .233 pace with 7 home runs and 21 RBIs.
